WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!!
What I really want to do is tell everyone all the details and OMG the RING!!! THE RING!!! But my other half is a little more reserved then I am so I am going to give as many details as I can without going overboard. Well as I mentioned above we did some apres skiing at the restaurant/bar called Smuggler Alm. The place was awesome and we both instantly fell in love with it...so we kind of planned to come back at some point in the trip.
On Friday night we decided to take a stroll through town and we did end up at the Smuggler. We were sitting there enjoying some Swiss beers when Craig asked me if I wanted to get some fresh air.
So, I thought why not its a nice night. We walked out on the porch, and stood under an overhang over looking the mountains and town. The snow was still coming down pretty hard. I kept talking about how lucky we were and that I couldnt believe we were in Switzerland yada yada...completely setting him up for the proposal. He said a couple romantic sentences to me and then got down on one knee asked me to marry him...and I said YES! The Yes was followed by "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD... ARE YOU SERIOUS...YOU CAN PLAY AS HOCKEY AS LONG AS YOU WANT" ( we might have to talk about the last comment) 
At first I was shocked I really didnt see it coming at all!!!! And then I really looked at the ring and almost died. Then the the hysterics started. I was completely overwhelmed with joy and excitement. Every time I looked at the ring the waterworks started. Everything just felt to good to be true.
The pictures that we took during the first hour after he proposed are to die for. I looked like a train wreck..smiling with mascara filled tears sliding down my cheeks , and boogers running out of my bright red nose. They are something else!
So, we finished our drinks and headed back to the hotel. We cheers-ed to a shot of Jameson before we made the phone calls (we are obviously way to classy for champagne)!!! The first one was to my parents...my mom picked up and I started balling again! She asked me what was wrong and I whimpered we are engaged! This was how I was for the first couple of phone calls just elated and a hot mess. Just a side note I am not a cryier at all...especially NOT in public. My sister said I sounded something like this:
The next day when I stopped crying we took some photos to celebrate!
The whole day and weekend was straight out of a fairy-tale Ridiculously Perfect! I still get a little teary eyed thinking about it...and this blog has taken me forever to write because I keep pausing to stare at the ring (ps he picked it out all by himself no help at all!).
We are both so excited for this next chapter of our lives. All the ups and downs, twists, and turns were completely worth it to be where we are now. I have never been so happy in my entire life and I cant believe I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. I am honestly the luckiest girl in the whole world!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH I AM GOING TO BE A BRIDE!!!!!!
