Alstadt etc

Craig’s birthday dinner turned out alright, and we ended the celebration with a chocolate croissant and a single candle!  Martha's back...
Baked Zuc, Pork tenderloin with mushrooms, Quinoa, and  Sauerkraut

Honey…I blew up my hair tools, and Europe has shrunk there’s.  I managed to blow the fuse in my converter, hair dryer, and the entire bathroom.   Instead of trying to find another converter I managed to find this miniature blow dryer and had a backup mini straightener that I bought in Denmark last year.  They don’t work to well but are pretty cute.

Yesterday, we had to go into Innsbruck to have snow tires put on our little nugget so we decided to make a day out of it.  I had been to the "Old Town" or as the locals call it "Alstadt" at night but wanted to see it during the day.     I really love the architecture there, all the buildings seem to have their own character and history.   I could walk and stare for hours.

The Dom- St. James Cathedral

Each cafe or restaurant that has outdoor seating provides patrons with a blanket usually some type of fur.  I have a feeling PETA would be all over this if the trend ever came to the US.

Hofburg- A royale Mansion

We finished the day with a beer at the Stiftskeller
