My first girls night out in Innsbruck was amazing.   A girlfriend  that is an Innsbruck native invited me out for  a night on the town (with two of her gfs) which just so happened to be on Halloween.  I told her at the last game that I was going to be dressing up as a mummy (easiest homemade costume I could think of was just to TP myself and go heavy on the eyeliner).  I ended up changing my mind when I was at the mall looking for a pair of leather pants (my fall/winter essential of the year) and that's when I stumbled upon a cheap Dirndl.  A  dirndl usually costs at least $100 so when I found this non-traditional one for $35 I had to buy it.  I figured I would wear it out so I would still be dressed up and it would be less embarrassing for the company that I was with.  They also joined me in wearing a dirndl which they informed me is like dressing up as a grandmother (minus the cleavage).  So basically I ended up embarrassing everyone with my dumb idea but  it didnt matter after a few of these:

One of the girls ordered this for me and it was delish I think its called a Hugo it is Prosecco with mint leaves and Elderflower Syrup

So the place we went to was and managed by one of the girls brothers and his wife was our server so lets just say we didnt have any issues getting a drink.    The walls were stone, lightening was dim, and they had these lanterns wrapped in orange cloth hanging from the ceiling so it was perfect ambiance for the occasion.  The music was the most random selection I have ever heard in my life (creed, usher, four non-blondes, enrique, to madonna) and they had a TV screen which played the music video with whatever song that was playing.  Just when I thought it couldnt get any better the karaoke started. My favorite was a duo; a man who was about 40 dressed as a vampire and his friend who looked like a latino Casanova.   I dont know what possessed these gentlemen to pick the songs they did but they defiantly gave it their all.  I'm pretty sure they thought they were auditioning for Simon Cowell.  My second  favorite of the night...the bartender dressed as the Grimm Reaper who dominated New York, New York.  I had a blast the entire time, her friends were amazing, and Gina was the perfect host!

Thank you so much for the invite!!!
