Take me back to endless gelato, hand rolled pasta, the smell of leather, and vino vino vino! The trip started off with a stop in Verona (Romeo and Juliet) for lunch which is about have way to Florence from Innsbruck. The part of Verona where we ate was right on the water , and even though it was a little foggy it was stunning. The place must be really busy in the summer!

After this trip I am adding "own an apartment in Florence" to my goals in life list. I gained at least 10 pounds in 3 days and each love handle was worth it. I ate everything steak, pizza, pasta, beef, cookies, bread, taramisu, cheesecake, gelatto, and about a gallon of wine and everything was the best I have ever had. I will proudly be wearing sweats for the next week! The architecture and statues were breath taking. After

I highly recommend visiting Florence at least once…if not for the scenery…for your stomach!
P.S. flowy shirts and elastic waists are essential for clothing there and so is this place for a sandwhich (usually an hour wait)

Dad you would have loved it! |
