#BFF

Talk about a week...holy smokes, we were here, there, everywhere all while downing huge amounts of Milka and Haribo gummy bears.  It was a week I will never forget exploring the best Austria has to offer with some of the people I love most.  This is going to sound bad, but you kind of get use to the views around here after a couple months, but I was quickly reminded how beautiful this place is with every awwww and ohhhhs from the girls.

Weather wasnt always on our side, and we came to realize that any/all weather predictions were complete bogus.  We manage to have a beautiful day while traveling up the Hungerburg Funicular.

The main reason to do this journey via roller coaster cruiser and cable car is for the view, my reason was to go to this igloo bar called Cloud 9 which that failed to tell us was closed...rudeness.

sister love!

That view

It was a frosty one in Salzburg, dont even ask me if I dressed properly.  I think we all learned that exploring a city isnt really great when your freezing your you know what off.  But it still was gorgeous and a blast!

my favorite picture of the entire trip!

I just could not let the girls go home without rodelling!  I didnt really realize how aggressive the hike up was, my heads up was not accurate at all.  But we made it up, and enjoyed the cutest little lodge with AMAZING food!

So its not just me, everyone LOVED rodelling.  You could hear the laughing and screams from miles away, my favorite thing we did!
Our night on the town, met up with some beauties!!!!
We did a little apres  in Seefeld!  We stumbled upon this bar yurt, which was UNBELIEVEABLE....
 1. Because this lady was straight up wearing a fox around her neck (gross)
2. This gentleman stood on the bar and proceeded to give us a full on striptease

Every girl needs a day of relaxation and pampering, especially when you are surrounded by amazing wellness centers!  So we spent a day at Aquadome, which is about an hour away.  This place is so cool with these huge cylindrical outdoor mineral tubs, full sauna/steam area, indoor pools, caferteria, spa, and gym.  You walk in and receive a bracelet which allows you to charge whatever you want on it, ie food, spa, and access to the sauna world.
me
Its a tad dangerous, when you can just scan your bracelet to receive any spa treatments you desire.  So we had a nice lunch and enjoyed the pools, and decided to try out the sauna world since it was only about 15 euros more...

So we walk into the area and its just weenies and boobs everywhere which was a bit of a shock because there was no real heads up that we were entering the nudey zone.  It took a little adjusting and me reminding myself that I am 27 years old and to stop laughing.  Its just really hard to walk into a salt grotto welcomed by 4 nude floating men with a straight face.  We decided/had to leave the grotto and headed to the sauna, which lasted about 10 minutes until the (not joking) Sauna World Coach stomped in and yelled at us to either strip down or leave the area.  We had no idea that it was not optional to wear clothes, but either way we were all set with Sauna World for the day!

Took them to my local ski area for some turns!!!!  They all really really impressed me with their skills!

The girls flew into Zurich, so we decided to end the trip with an overnight there.  UNBELIEVABLY breathtaking, UNBELIEVEABLY expensive.  Like $20 for a burger expensive.

But dont worry it didnt stop us from trying everything!!!  My first fondue experience, obsessed!

Meg Barnes this was for you!!!!

new friends we met!

It was an action packed, sightseeing, wine drinking, and Haribo consuming visit and I already miss them! Oh and we caught two Haie games as well! Glad you girls got home safe, and thank you so much for coming to visit us!!!!!!!!!

We are off to France tomorrow for Craig's vacation and to celebrate our 1 year of being engaged (is that even a thing?)
